Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Apps and websites can also save information in your browser’s storage. We use as few as possible, and only the ones needed to make things work. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Reading the pages of our website sets no cookies at all. These are used only when you shop or pay:

The Dosa Chaska rewards app (rewards.dosachaska.com)
The app saves a few things in your browser’s storage so it works: your sign-in (so you don’t have to log in every time), your card (so it opens without signal), your basket, and your chat for up to 12 hours. It’s all removed when you sign out. When you pay, Stripe’s secure payment form sets the Stripe cookies above. If you switch on notifications, your phone keeps a code that lets us send them. If you choose “Sign in with Google”, Google sets its own cookies for the sign-in. The app’s fonts come from Google Fonts.
Your choices
All of these are strictly necessary, so under UK law they don’t need your consent. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the basket, checkout and app sign-in won’t work without them.
If we ever add anything that isn’t strictly necessary (for example website statistics), we’ll ask for your permission first and update this page.
