Palak Paneer
Fresh spinach cooked down slowly with soft paneer. We thicken ours with chickpea flour and cashews rather than cream, so the spinach stays the star.
- No gluten ingredients
- Contains milk
- High in protein
Why it’s different
- Eight kilos of fresh spinach in every batch
- Thickened with chickpea flour and cashews, not cream
- Paneer in generous pieces
The story
Palak paneer comes from the north of India, where spinach and fresh cheese are winter staples. Every family has its own way: ours has no cream and plenty of greens.
How to enjoy it
With a warm roti, naan or basmati rice.
Defrost overnight in the fridge, then heat in a pan, stirring, until piping hot all the way through. From frozen: heat gently in a covered pan with a splash of water.
